摘要操作系统（英语：Operating System，简称OS）是管理和控制计算机硬件与软件资源的计算机程序，是直接运行在“裸机”上的最基本的系统软件，任何其他软件都必须在操作系统的支持下才能运行。操作系统是用户和计算机的接口，同时也是计算机硬件和其他软件的接口。操作系统的功能包括管理计算机系统的硬件、软件及数据资源，控制程序运行，改善人机界面，为其它应用软件提供支持等，使计算机系统所有资源最大限度地发挥作用，提供了各种形式的用户界面，使用户有一个好的工作环境，为其它软件的开发提供必要的服务和相应的接口。实际上，用户是不用接触操作系统的，操作系统管理着计算机硬件资源，同时按着应用程序的资源请求，为其分配资源，如：划分CPU时间，内存空间的开辟，调用打印机等。操作系统的种类相当多，各种设备安装的操作系统可从简单到复杂，可分为智能卡操作系统、实时操作系统、传感器节点操作系统、嵌入式操作系统、个人计算机操作系统、多处理器操作系统、网络操作系统和大型机操作系统。22752

智能手机操作系统是一种运算能力及功能比传统功能手机系统更强的手机系统。使用最多的操作系统有：Android、iOS、Symbian、Windows Phone和BlackBerry OS。他们之间的应用软件互不兼容。因为可以像个人电脑一样安装第三方软件，所以智能手机有丰富的功能。智能手机能够显示与个人电脑所显示出来一致的正常网页，它具有独立的操作系统以及良好的用户界面，它拥有很强的应用扩展性、能方便随意地安装和删除应用程序。电视操作系统是指专用在智能电视上的操作系统。
