Abstract We have witnessed, along with the rapid development of computer science and technology, the earth in the near future will become a global village。 The era of big data is a transitional stage, and image is just the most important part。 Due to the acquisition approach differ in thousands ways and not perfect, images may appear in the corner of the incomplete, blurred, tilt distortion and so on。 These defects on human life and production brought many negative effects, even to endanger the lives and property of the people。 As a result of this, the image mosaic technology has been widely used in the field of photography, medical industry, aerospace industry, as well as the direction of robot vision research。 It has great application value。 Image mosaic algorithm is the critical point of image mosaic。 The paper realized one image mosaic algorithm based on features。 The main work is as follows:
1) It follows the steps of image mosaic to research respectively on image preprocessing, image registration, image fusion algorithms to analysis the advantages and disadvantages of each。
2) It sums up a set of relatively great algorithms。 It selects the appropriate programming language and environment to implement this algorithm and design a image mosaic program that has a efficient and normative user operation interface, hoping that it can get better effect and giving the prospects for the development of image mosaic in the aspect of algorithm。
