This paper mainly focuses on the following three aspects:

(1) A variety of design methods for opening reinforcement are proposed, such as side wall reinforcement, plate reinforcement, elbow plate reinforcement and trapezoidal reinforcement;

(2) The nonlinear buckling analysis of various opening strengthening methods is carried out, and the strength and stability of the opening are obtained. After analysis and comparison, the optimum design scheme of the opening is obtained;

(3) By use the CCS standard check, draw a conclusion - using trapezoidal strengthening method can effectively reduce stress concentration, make the stress distribution more evenly in the structure, ensure the strength and stability of the pressure shell structure.
