摘 要中美两国的历史、文化和社会背景有着较大的差异，这种差异也体现在中美小学数学课堂中的教学目标、教学方法、教学内容，学生情况、师生关系，教学环境和课堂氛围几个方面。中国的数学基础教育优秀，学生可以掌握更深更广的课本知识。美国的基础教育弱于中国，但美国学生更具有创新能力和实践能力。我们应当借鉴美国课堂教学法的闪光点，在传授给学生大量书本知识的同时，也要注重提高课堂活跃程度，让他们充分参与进来，多给他们一些活动空间，充分发挥学生的自主性和创造性，挖掘他们的批判性和发散思维，提高他们的分析能力和理解能力。89057
Abstract The history, culture and social background between China and the United States are quiet different。 The differences exist between Chinese and American primary mathematics teaching in the following aspects: teaching objectives, classroom teaching methods, classroom teaching content, students situation, teacher-student relationship, teaching environment and classroom atmosphere。 Mathematics basic education is outstanding in China。 Students are able to master a deeper knowledge of the textbook。 Although the basic education in the United States is weaker than that in China, American students have stronger ability of innovation and practice。 We should find out the highlight of American teaching principles and learn it。 Chinese primary mathematics classroom should let students participate more in class activities, give more space for students’ self-learning and creativity, and cultivate their different ways of thinking。 We should improve their analytical ability rather than merely teaching them a lot of knowledge which in textbook。
