Abstract Markov chain is a kind of effective forecasting method which is applied to the problem of stochastic process。 Its principle is complex, but its application is very wide。 It is mainly used to analyze the trend of the future development of random events, and Markov chain is a scientific forecasting method。 In the economic field, many phenomena have the characteristics of Markov chain, this paper illustrates its application in the field of economy, finance and so on, displays the importance and necessity in the field of financial economics in mathematical modeling by combing Markov chain principle and Markov forecasting method of theoretical knowledge with actual cases。 Mathematics methods of Markov forecasting in finance and economic development application of this theory are introduced。
