Abstract Digital array radar has become the primary developing trend of radar area because of its programmability and strong applicability。 And the formation of digital beam is the major technology of fodigital array radar for its low power consumption, high stability and high accuracy。 And it enables the beam to obtain a performance of super-resolution and low sidelobe  to achieve the beam scanning, target tracking and Nulling spatial interference signal, so it is necessary to do research on transmit digital beam forming。 The generation and implementation of multi-channel intermediate frequency signal is one of the key technology in digital array radar transmit digital beamforming。

This paper mainly focuses on the  technology of  transmit beam-forming , and emphases on the principle of forming method of multi-beam 。 On the  platform of  transmit beam-forming ,we study the 16-channel transmit digital beam-forming board。 The forming of hardware platform and the composition of its core FPGA  are elaborated , and we made observation and study on some important designs on the hardware platform。 On hardware platform for transmit digital beamforming, and the 16-channel intermediate frequency chirp signal is generated, and its performance was tested and analyzed。Finally, the paper studies the error correction on magnitude and phase for beamforming array unit channel error and make simple measurements on magnitude and phase differences between channels。
