摘要随着国家的西气东输战略的实施，煤气已经进入了千家万户中，为人们的生活提供了方便，但是煤气表的抄表问题还没有实现智能化。随着科学技术的发展，计算机的大面积普及、数学理论成果的不断进步（特别是离散数学理论的创立和完善），使用图像处理技术解决这一问题已经指日可待。81857
本文就对煤气表的数字显示部分的识别进行算法研究，通过对图像进行滤波处理以去除噪声，对字符结构信息进行了增强处理，经过这一系列预处理之后，最终实现字符分割及识别，将其算法进行编程实现，并在VS2008开发环境下使用MFC应用程序，对煤气表的数字显示部分进行字符识别。

Title Study on gas meter character recognition based on digital image processing
Abstract Which the country's west east gas transmission strategy to allow the gas into the millions of households,it provides convenience for people's life, but the meter reading problem of gas meter has not been realized。 With the development of science and technology, the computer popularization of large area, mathematical theories and results of continuous progress, especially discrete mathematics theory foundation and improvement) and image processing technology is used to solve the problem is just around the corner。
In this paper, we study the identification of the digital display part of gas meter,through the study of the filter to remove noise of image, to enhanced the character structure information, after this series of pretreatment,the character segmentation and recognition is finally realized,the algorithm is realized by programming,and use MFC application in VS2008 development environment,to digital identification。
