Abstract In order to study the characteristics of total suspended particulate matter in the atmosphere and its water soluble anion, TSP samples were collected from March to May in 2016, and analysis of concentration was by gravimetric method, then the content of water soluble anions in total suspended particles was analyzed by Ion Chromatography。 The results show that atmosphere TSP concentration trends of two sampling points in campus are basically same, close to the ground, and the flow of people, TSP concentration of the atmosphere will be relatively high, and sampling points higher, and less flow, the atmospheric TSP concentration will be lower。 Average concentration of campus atmosphere TSP was 0。200mg/m3, the concentration of TSP for the most part are below the provisions of China secondary standard value 0。300mg/m3, environmental quality is good, but there are also very few TSP concentration reaching grade three level standard, the concentration is high and the pollution is serious。 Detection of total suspended particulate matter in the 4 kinds of water soluble anions, namely SO42-, NO3-, Cl- and F-, the concentration of F- was 0。014±0。002mg/m³, the concentration of Cl- was 0。007±0。001mg/m³, the concentration of NO3- was 0。010±0。001mg/m³,the concentration of SO42- was 0。009±0。001mg/m³, in which the concentration of F-is the highest, the concentration of Cl- is the lowest。 After precipitation the concentration of total suspended particulate matter and its water soluble anions were low, and there was a certain relationship between total suspended particles and their anions。
