摘要:高效率视频编码(HEVC)标准比以前的视频编码标准实现更好的效率。这种改进的一个贡献者是它支持的大量帧内预测模式。与H。264 / AVC等效预测器相比,在实现更好的速率失真(R-D)性能的同时,它的计算负荷较重。在本文中,提出了一种快速帧内模式决策算法,以加速HEVC中的原始帧内编码。通过分析当前预测单元(PU)的梯度信息,仅选择一小部分模式作为速率失真优化(RDO)处理的候选模式。81324
HEVC的编码性能是以较大的编码复杂度为代价实现的,比如四叉树递归块划分结构、率失真优化决策、35 种帧内预测方向等关键技术的复杂度都非常高。本文对 HEVC 帧内编码进行了深入研究,降低帧内编码复杂度,提高整体编码效率。
在不同序列、不同 QP 参数的配置情况下,本算法保证视频质量基本不变,码率稍有增加,平均在 0。2%左右;亮度峰值信噪比 PSNR 的降低量均在 0。05dB 左右,保证在0。1dB 之内;而编码时间平均减少了约 40%,很大程度上加快了编码速度。实验结果可以充分表明,本文实现的算法能够有效的提高编码效率、缩短帧内编码时间,对 HEVC 的实际应用具有积极的意义。

Research on intra - frame mode selection algorithm in efficient video coding
Abstracts:The High E ciency Video Coding (HEVC) standard achieves much better e ciency than previous video coding standards。 One contributor to this improvement is the large set of intra prediction modes that it supports。 While result-ing in the better Rate-Distortion (R-D) performance com-pared to the H。264/ AVC equivalent predictor, it su ers from heavier computation load。 In this paper, a fast intra mode decision algorithm is proposed to speed up the original intra coding in HEVC。 By analysing the gradient information of the current prediction unit (PU), only a small part of modes are selected as the candidate modes for the rate-distortion optimization (RDO) process。 Two other performance tun-ing methods (SBS and SDBS) are also introduced in this paper。 Experimental results show that, compared to the newest HEVC test model software HM 10。0, the proposed method provides a reduction of up to 42% in computation-al complexity with a small increase in the bit-rate and a negligible reduction in PSNR values。
The coding performance of HEVC is realized at the cost of large coding complexity, such as quadratic tree recursive block partition structure, rate distortion optimization decision, 35 kinds of intra prediction direction and other key technologies are very high complexity。 In this paper, HEVC intra-coding has been studied in depth, reduce the complexity of intra-coding, improve the overall coding efficiency。
In the case of different sequences and different QP parameters, the algorithm guarantees the video quality is basically the same, the bit rate increases slightly, with an average of about 0。2%。 The reduction of the luminance peak-to-noise ratio PSNR is about 0。05dB, 0。1dB; and the coding time is reduced by about 40% on average, to a large extent to speed up the coding speed。 The experimental results can show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the coding efficiency and shorten the intra-frame coding time, which is of great significance to the practical application of HEVC。
