Abstract Double glass curtain wall is widely used in our country, not only because of the curtain wall to make the building more artistic and modern sense, but also because of the good summer heat and winter heat insulation characteristics to reduce the building energy consumption。 However, the design of curtain wall is very complex, and the thermal channel width of curtain wall has great influence on the thermal performance of curtain wall。 Therefore, it is significant to study the effect of glass curtain wall on energy consumption of different thermal channel width in cold area。
In this paper, the heat transfer principle and method of the double layer heat channel glass curtain wall are analyzed, and the influence of the glass curtain wall on the energy consumption of the glass curtain wall with different heat channel width is studied。 According to the various parameters of the Harbin area, using gambit to establish model of double glass curtain wall, thermal channel width were obtained from 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm and using FLUENT software were temperature field and velocity field numerical simulation to further explore the problem of energy consumption。
