Method and Analysis of Experimental Data Processing of Newton's Rings
Abstract:Newton's rings experiment is an important experiment in college physics. Equal thickness interference phenomenon can be observed through the Newton's rings experiment which can strengthen the understanding of the volatility of light. Newton's rings experiment has a wide application in the scientific research and engineering technology at the same time. This paper first introduces the Newton's rings experiment device, experiment principle and matters which need attention, and then the data are measured by experiment. The difference method, graphic method and the least square method, method of weighted mean are respectively used to process the data. According to the analysis, method of weighted mean is worth to recommend.
