一、 前言
范源廉是清末民初极具影响力的教育家，曾任中华书局编辑长，任职期间组织编纂了“新制”、“新编”、“新式”等一系列教科书以及其他教育类丛书，为中华书局的文教出版事业做出了巨大的贡献，直至1916年8月因就任教育总长而去职，且去职后仍然心系中华书局，积极为教科书及教育问题出谋划策。陆费逵在《中华书局二十年之回顾》中评价：范静生先生，目光远大，不计利害，在局虽四年，然服务勤劳，时间恪守，编辑基础于以立，社会声誉于以隆，而东山再起之后，对于公司尤多擘画维持。 范源廉生前基本上没有出版著作，学界有关范源廉的教育论著和相关研究专著也比较缺乏，这对其作为一位著名教育家来说，的确是一大遗憾。因此，将范源廉先生对教育事业的贡献，特别是一些易被忽视的业绩进行深入的发掘和整理就显得十分有必要了。 范源廉与中华书局教科书的编纂:http://www.youerw.com/wenxue/lunwen_184291.html
