摘 要：在20世纪60-80年代，美国家庭结构的剧变使得单亲母亲家庭日益增多，出现了“妇女贫困化现象”。在这样的困境下，有着追求福利权利经验的美国妇女借助第二次妇女运动积极推动政府进行社会福利改革。她们通过建立具有社会影响力的妇女组织、开展争取福利权益的斗争来追求她们在就业、薪酬、教育等方面的平等权利。在她们的积极争取与努力下，政府对相应的福利政策作出了如下调整：在平等就业方面，颁布了平等就业机会法案；在工资报酬方面，通过了同工同酬修正案；在教育机会平等方面，实施了一系列禁止性别歧视的教育平等法案。她们推动政府进行社会福利改革一方面改善了她们的工作、生活状况；提高了她们的社会地位；锻炼了她们的能力；另一方面，也使美国社会福利制度更为完善。92794
