摘 要：人类认识事物、表达和传递信息、存储记录信息、甚至是人类表达思想感情等都是可以借助符号来进行完成，可见它应用能力的强大。其中古建筑摄影就是符号学功能的一种体现。摄影艺术是记录和传播现实社会文化的重要手段之一，摄影师可以根据自己的观念和对事物的认知去与符号学相融合，从而创造出独特有内涵的影像符号——摄影图像符号，也可让有价值有意义的文化通过特殊的影像符号的形式长久的保存和流传下去。93800

   从符号学的观点来论述，就是把现实世界中的影像元素转化成具有可承载某种文化情感和社会意义的符号，从摄影的创作、解读与传播等的方面对摄影艺术新的理解和阐述。
