摘要：“步行”是与人们生活密切相关且最原始的交通方式，但随着工业与技术 进程的推进，汽车等机械交通方式快速替代步行成为当代人最主流的交通方式。汽车等 机械交通方式的过度使用造成的不仅是城市蔓延及环境污染，同时也对人的身体健康带 来了巨大危害。步行空间和车行空间的矛盾日益突出，城市交通压力增大，交通秩序杂 乱。暴露这些问题较早的欧美国家对此进行了反思与总结，提出了若干包含“精明增长”、 “增长管理”、“填充式发展”、“新城市主义”、“都市更新”、“区域城市”、“城市增长边 界”、“紧凑城市”等可持续发展理念。虽然每种理念各有侧重点，但均有一个共同目标： 以倡导步行出行为主要思想，强调适宜步行对城市及住区发展的重要意义。

通过在淮安这几年的学习和生活中的观察，我们发现随着淮安市经济社会的快速发展， 住区的步行空间和车行空间的矛盾日益突出，步行网络不合理，步行设施不完善，步行 景观层次单一，步行空间环境不适宜步行等问题已严重影响了城市和住区的健康发展。 作为本专业的学生，我们希望能够运用自己的专业知识，为淮安市住区的步行空间发展 尽自己的一份力。85866

Abstract: "Walking" is closely related to people's life and the most primitive way of traffic, but with the advancement of the industrial revolution and technology revolution, machinery, automobile transportation instead of walking quickly become a mainstream in the modern age, the mode of transportation。Machinery, automobile transportation caused by excessive use of spread is not only the city and the environmental pollution, but also has brought about great harm to people's health。Walking space and garage space contradictions increasingly prominent, pressure on urban traffic, traffic order clutter。Expose these problems earlier European and American countries carried out reflection and summary, proposes some contain "smart growth", "growth management", "filling type development", the "new urbanism", "urban renewal", "city area", "urban growth boundary", "compact city" concept of sustainable development, etc。Although there is a focus for each concept, but all have a common goal: to advocate the walk to the main idea, emphasize suitable for walking on the city and the significance of residential development。

Through observation in huaian this several years of study and life, we found that with the rapid development of huaian economic and social, settlements of walking space and garage space contradictions increasingly prominent, pedestrian network is unreasonable, pedestrian facilities is not perfect, walking single landscape level, the problem such as space environment  is  not suitable for walking on foot has seriously affected the healthy development of cities and settlements。As the professional students, we hope to be able to use their professional knowledge, for the walking space development of qinmian residential house to do his part。
