And then this paper designs the intrinsically safe power supply circuit, including the main  circuit,  switch control  circuit and over-voltage  over-current protection circuit  design.

Combined with intrinsically safe requirements and electrical performance indicators, we can optimize the transformer and filter capacitors to achieve reduced ripple.The control circuit uses PWM control chip UC3842 and dual operational amplifier LM358  in  order to achieve the output over-voltage and constant current control. In the protection circuit, in order to speed up the fault protection, shorten the spark discharge time and improve the output power, current change rate detection has been used, also,drive mode taking totem column has been used.

The final task is to build the simulation platform, by using MATLAB  simulation software to simulate the mathematical expression, to verify that the capacitor series resistance is conducive to suppress the capacitor’s discharge energy of the short-circuit. We can use simulink to establish the circuit simulation model and contact the experimental results to verify the theoretical method and design effectiveness.
