摘 要：鉴于地图在地理教学中的重要地位，对于师范生地图教学能力的培养成了一个当前应当予以重视的问题。而信息技术的飞速发展以及新课程改革的深入推进都给中学地理教学带来了严峻的挑战，传统的教学工具和教学手段已经渐渐跟不上时代发展的脚步，而这时GIS技术在中学地图教学中的优势则体现了出来。作者查阅了相关资料，并结合自身的教育实习经历，分析了当前地理师范生地图教学能力现状以及GIS在中学地图教学中的重要的教育功能的同时，还提出了地理师范生利用GIS技术提高地图教学能力的相关建议，以期发挥GIS技术的优势来加强地理师范生地图教学能力的培养。58660

Abstract：In view of the map takes up an important position in the geography teaching, developing the map teaching ability of normal students of geography specialty has become a urgent problem which should attach our attention. And the rapid development of information technology and the deepening of new curriculum reform brought severe challenge to geography teaching in middle schools,so the traditional teaching tools and teaching method has gradually couldn't keep up with the pace of the social development,and the advantages of GIS technology in the middle schools’ geography teaching is reflected.The author referred to related information, combined with their experience of educational practice,analyzing the important educational function of GIS in middle schools’ geography teaching and the current situation of the map teaching ability of the normal students of geography specialty,which offering proposals about the GIS teaching to normal students of geography specialty in normal universities,in order to play the advantages of GIS technology to strengthen the map teaching ability of normal students of geography specialty.
