摘要:近年来,彩色数字图像信息随着多媒体技术的不断完善被广泛地应用于各种领域。彩色图像增强是一种非常重要的预处理过程,在改善彩色图像质量和后续图像分析中起到了关键作用。不同于灰度图像增强,彩色图像增强过程中,不仅要加强图像的判定和识别效果,还要避免图像增强后引起的色彩失真。35434
直方图均衡化方法是一种常用的图像增强算法。在灰度图像增强算法中,通常采用基于概率累积函数的均衡法。但是彩色图像有R、G、B三个颜色分量,这使得原来的一文问题变成了更加复杂的三文问题。
本文主要介绍了四种彩色图像直方图均衡化算法:基于RGB彩色空间的颜色通道独立增强算法、基于HSI彩色空间I分量增强算法、彩色空间非线性重组的增强算法和快速颜色保持彩色图像增强算法。最后将这些增强算法进行了实验对比,分析了各类算法在增强效果、算法复杂度和颜色保持等方面的优缺点。

The research of color image enhancement
Abstract: Recent years,the color image information has been widely used in various
fields.and got a great deal of attention in digital image processing with the constantly
improving multimedia technology.Color image enhancement is a very important pre-processing,and played a crucial role in improving the color image quality and
subsequent image analysis.Unlike the gray-scale image enhancement,the process of color image enhancement,not only need to strengthen the determination and identification effect of image,but also to avoid color distortion caused by image enhancement.
The histogram equalization is the most commonly used image enhancement algorithms . For gray-scale images, we usually use the 1-D histogram equalization method based on the cumulative distribution function. However, a typical color image has three color components: red(R), green(G) and blue(B). The histogram equalization of a color image is more complex than 1-D equalization due to the multidimensional nature of color signal.
This paper mainly introduces the four kinds of color image histogram equalization algorithm: the equalization method based on each RGB color channel, the equalization method based on I component in HSI color space, Non-linear color space enhancement algorithm restructuring and a fast hue preserved color image enhancement algorithm.Finally I compare these enhancement algorithms through experiments, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the various algorithms enhance the effect, algorithm complexity, color retention on and so on.
