Title The Effect and Regulation of International Short-term Capital Flow to China
Abstract
With the continuous development of the world economic integration, China's economy continuing to grow and China's financial investment environment continuing to improve, the International Short-term Capital flowing in China is becoming increasingly frequent.The flow of International Capital can not only provide capital for input to our country,but also the development of more investment ways; but on the other hand,large-scale Short-term Capital flows will weaken China's macroeconomic policies and increase volatility in the domestic real estate market and the stock market, and even lead to increase the risk of the entire financial system.Firstly this paper describes the meaning of short-term International Capital Flows, and then describes the present situation of global capital flows and short-term capital flow’s present situation and new features,the next summarizes the International Short-term Capital’s several methods in China, including current project under the current account and the "underground banks" and other illegal covert ways.Based on the analysis that the development trend of the international short-term capital flows,combined with China's current economic trend,this paper analyze the influence of International Short-term Capital flows on China's monetary policy, exchange rate and financial market.At last,the policy suggestions to China on the International Short-term Capital flow’s regulation are put forward.These suggestions will have important reference to the management of the International Capital flows in our country.
