A Research on the impact of RMB exchange rate fluctuations on China’s international balance of payments
Abstract：Recent years have seen rapid change in the pattern of RMB exchange rate and that of the China’s international balance of payment. This article attempts to analyze how the change of the former affect the latter with data from 2001 to 2015. By tracking the trend of RMB exchange rate fluctuations and China’s overall balance of payment and by applying an OLS analysis on the key factors affecting the current account and capital account respectively, this article comes to the conclusion that the change in China’s capital and financial account has been the determinant of overall balance of payment in recent years, and that RMB exchange rate has a negative linear relationship with capital account balance while keeping a greater positive one with the current account balance. It is notable that the RMB exchange rate proves to have a limited affect on the overall balance, especially on that of the capital account, comparing to other factors like foreign exchange reserve.

人民币汇率波动对我国国际收支影响分析
一、引言
一国宏观经济政策调控的重要目标之一就是国际收支均衡，而国际贸易与资本流动离不开不同货币的兑换，货币汇率因此成为对一国国际收支均衡产生影响的重要因素。而我国自1979年改革开放以来，人民币汇率政策自1994年以来经历了前后27年的变革，其中，2005年汇率改革实行了以市场供求为基础、参考一篮子货币进行调节、有管理的浮动汇率制度，成为汇率形成机制改动的主要时间节点；而自2010年以来新一轮的汇率制度改革着重对人民币汇率波动幅度进行调整以及对人民币汇率弹性进行强化。
