In this paper, we developed a test platform for open focusing photovoltaic devices with high times of points and high reliability.In this platform, we can accurately test the thermal and electrical characteristics of semiconductor III-V family of multi junction solar cells under high magnification.In addition, in this platform, we can also carry out the design of innovative concentrating photovoltaic modules, circuit system reliability test, IV test and so on.
Due to the temperature of the spot focusing photovoltaic power generation platform will be greatly improved in a short time, this paper designed and added temperature control clamp to operate.In addition, because the temperature of the battery can not be obtained by direct measurement of the specific value, this paper uses the experimental data and numerical calculation method to calculate the temperature of the battery.The design of the platform takes into account the characteristics of the point focusing solar cells, and uses the optical software to design a set of linear concentration photovoltaic system to realize its continuous variability.And select the appropriate power test range of current and voltage test equipment used to test the IV characteristic output curve of solar photovoltaic cells and other data parameters, at the same time to collect and analyze the light spot and other optical elements.In the experiment, we use the double layer lens instead of the single layer lens, which can make the spot to obtain a lower aberration and the concentration factor.
According to the design idea and build the high ratio of concentrating photovoltaic testing platform, according to the test results recorded concentrating ratio and beam density and other parameters. Record data and draw I-V characteristic curve and efficiency of solar cells under different light intensities were obtained based on the IV curve, open circuit voltage, short circuit current and maximum power point parameters and improved to achieve high-power light gathering photovoltaic test platform build.
