Analysis and evaluation of pressure vessel inspection method
Abstract: Nowadays, pressure vessel has become the important equipment in every industry field, and has the important influence to the national economy development. With the rapid development of modern industry, the operating environment of various pressure vessels is getting worse and worse. Therefore, the status and function of pressure vessel inspection have become more and more important. Pressure vessel inspection is different with general industrial production, it won't produce economic benefits directly, and it plays an important in preventing the occurrence of accidents. The loss of an accident may be much more than the cost of thousands of inspections.
This paper introduces the contents and methods of pressure vessel inspection.It involve the concept of pressure vessel, pressure vessel inspection, the pressure vessel inspection meaning and the history. Inspecting three different kinds of pressure vessels, like air storage tank, evaporator, urea reactor and estimating safety level of them, find out how to use different inspection methods correctly and analyze the inspection method in the process of pressure vessel inspection. The conclusion is that the correct inspection method for the pressure vessel inspection can not only ensure the efficiency and the economy of the inspection, but also can improve the reliability of the inspection results. It is practical to inspect process vessel smoothly.
