Title The Analyze On Shearing Ability Of The Plate Shear
Abstract
The plate shear is a kind of large machinery device, which exerts shear
force on sheets metal of varied thickness and break them according to the
required size by reasonable blade gap. The key components of plate shear
are the moving upper blade and the fixed lower blade. According to the shape
of the blade, it can be pided into the following types: parallel to the
blade shearing machine、oblique blade plate shear、disc-type plate
shear、flying plate shear. The major model of this thesis is the oblique
blade plate shear. The strength of body structure affects the shear
capacity directly and has an effect on economic benefits, so this thesis
has made a deep research on its strength. The thesis aims to analyze the
mechanical properties of each part in the working plate shear by ANSYS,
in order to make it clear whether its strength meets the requirements or not.
