摘要近年,随着社会的快速发展和学生英语学习需求的不断提高,人们对初中英语课堂教学提出了更高的要求。活动教学法对改变传统的英语教学模式,激发学生英语学习兴趣,发挥学生的主体作用,以及提高学生英语知识应用能力方面发挥了强大的作用。活动教学法不仅锻炼了学生的思文,增加了学生体验英语的机会,促进了学生英语交流能力的提高,更重要的是它还可以激发学生学习英语的积极性,使学生在快乐中学习英语。研究结果显示,活动教学法不仅适用于初中英语课堂,它还有利于优化英语课堂的教学效果。21545

Abstract
People have put forward higher requirements about English teaching in junior high school with the rapid development of society and improvement of students’ English learning needs in recent years. Activity Teaching Method played a powerful role in many aspects, which has changed the traditional model of English teaching, which also motivated the interest of English learning of students and exert the principal role of them, which has a great impact on the ability of application in English knowledge. The teaching method not only trains the thinking way of students and increases the opportunity of experiencing English, but also improves the communication ability by using English and inspires students’ enthusiasm of learning. So students can study English happily. The research shows that teaching method is appropriate for the English teaching in junior middle school. And it is also conducive to optimize teaching effect of English classroom.

1. Introduction
As is known to all, China has a long history in English teaching and learning. And many educators and professors has researched the foreign language teaching for several decades years. They not only found the problems which were existing in the English teaching class, but put forward many scientific and effective English teaching methods which include the Activity Teaching Method.
In traditional English teaching class, the phenomenon is very boring. The teacher is in charge of many students in one class, and teacher is the center of the class. Surely, students have a little chance to practice oral English in dull and boring class environment. The students still feel very nervous while speaking especially in English class. The teacher can not pay equal attention to every student. In this circumstance students are not sure whether they perform well or not. There are too much criticism and interruption to them in the class. So they are not interest in English learning.
