Abstract Along with the development of the times, more and more countries have improved the importance of education. In view of such conditions, this thesis will make a brief analysis on the differences between Chinese and British primary education. The first part will introduce the general background of Chinese and British primary education. The second part will analyze five differences between Chinese and British education in elementary school. The third part will give the similarities in both educations. And the forth part will discuss the advantages and disadvantages in both primary educations. From the comparison we can select the essences and adopt it to Chinese use.70924

1. Introduction

Generally speaking, education is the root of a nation and an important key for a nation to keep with the world. Both China and Britain have primary schools. But as we can see, they still have many differences, which caused by several reasons, such as different education concepts, teaching atmosphere in class, class size, education approach, curriculum setting etc. Therefore, education is always paid great attention by these two countries and the primary education is the foundation of education.论文网
