Abstract D。H Lawrence, as a fairly distinctive writer in twentieth century, was brilliant and insightful。 Nevertheless, he had had a rough life and endured a great amount of criticism and misunderstanding in his days and thereafter。 Lady Chatterley’s Lover is his last work and also a summary of his woks, which embodies exquisite artistry and profound ideological implication。 It has always been a popular focus for scholars of fans of Lawrence。 Eco-criticism, as a new theory of cultural criticism, appeared accompanying the frequent occurrence of ecological crisis, which also possesses a consideration for the relationship between human and nature。 This new theory demonstrates people’s wish for human and nature to co-exist in harmony。 This paper tries to decipher Lady Chatterley’s Lover from the view of a well known scholar Lu Shuyuan who pided Ecology into three aspects, natural ecology, social ecology, and spiritual ecology, to explore the profound thought to numerous questions about nature, society, human spirit, industrial civilization and gender relations, which have been shown in Lawrence’ works from three aspects: man and nature, man with others, man themselves, to reveal the positive ecological philosophy concerning the harmony between human and nature implied in it。79371
