Abstract:Since the prosperity of popular music, European and American pop music occupied the mainstream position of pop music, in the history of the development of European and American pop music also appeared a large number of legend, Whitney Houston is one of the representative. So about the music achievement of Whitney Houston's life and her singing make analysis, is of great significance to explore the European and American pop music. This paper first summarizes the Whitney music achievement in his life, then sing to her music and his analysis, finally explores the impact on European and American pop music at that time she like pop music history in Europe and the us with her role. Hopes to provide some basis to the study of America and Europe pop music and train of thought, analysis of America and Europe pop style for reference.

惠特尼•休斯顿，与生俱来的天赋让她站上了世界流行音乐的巅峰，美国国歌有史以来的最佳演绎者，被誉为“美利坚之声”。[ ]她有着无以伦比的嗓音、高贵典雅的形象；她是女王，是女神，是熠熠发光的黑珍珠，是这个星球上最闪亮的明星之一，是中国人对于欧美流行音乐的启蒙，是学生时代的一段记忆，和随身听、磁带一起定格的青春。
她的歌声宛如从天堂降临，影响了众多歌手。她将抒情歌谣和动感舞曲完美的融洽在了一起。让无数人欲罢不能、为之动情。她的盛名横跨了两个年代，格莱美奖杯也许对她来说不过是每年圣诞树上的装饰品。
一、惠特尼休斯顿的从艺经历
（一）个人简历
惠特妮•休斯顿（Whitney Houston），1963年8月9日出生于美国新泽西州的纽华克市，美国著名歌手及演员。
上世纪八十年代早期，惠特妮主要担任模特工作。1983年，克莱夫•戴文斯发掘了她的音乐天赋，并于1985年2月14日为她发行了人生中第一张同名专辑，此时的惠特尼才开始歌手生涯。她于1992年主演了电影《保镖》，同时演唱了电影主题曲《I Will Always Love You》，这首传奇歌曲被收录于专辑《The Bodyguard》中。1999年与美国歌手玛丽亚•凯莉共同演唱的歌曲《When You Believe》获得了第71届奥斯卡最佳电影主题曲奖。2009年发行了专辑《I Look To You》，在公告牌前200名排行榜第1名。
