摘要北京四合院作为北方的一种特有民居，在其建筑形态、生活观念、历史积淀上都有其特有的魅力，但是随着时代的发展，种种表现显示传统四合院因造价高，占地面积大，人口利用率低等原因不太适应城市人口暴涨之下高密度建筑发展的方向需求。但是，传统城市的特点消失，高层住宅的生活方式出现了集中能源短缺、交通阻塞、邻里关系等问题越来越突出，这就需要我们重新审视传统四合院的美学价值和功能价值，在提升生活水平，完善空间布局，引领新的生活方式的综合要求下，做到创新传统建筑以使传统建筑能够适应当代社会的发展。本文以梅兰芳故居为例，浅析传统北京标志性建筑——四合院，在现代审美需求下的发展与创新。84976

Title   The development of traditional Beijing courtyard under the modern aesthetic demand and innovation 

Abstract As a unique type of resident house in the North, courtyard houses of Beijing are charming in architectural form, living concept and historical precipitation。 However, as time flows traditional courtyard houses fail to adapt to changes of its surroundings, in that questions like reduced living space, poor living condition, distorted architectural structure and change in family structure have risen on the surface。 The conflicts urge us to coordinate between modern and conventional living style, enhance living condition and promote spatial arrangement, so as to lead a brand new living style while innovating on conventional architectural structure to adapt it to contemporary social development。 This essay takes Mr。 Lanfang Mei’s previous house as example, analyzing how could a traditional landmark form of architecture, courtyard houses of Beijing, develop in the modern aesthetic demand。
