摘要：“城市家具”就是城市公共设施，包括城市景观小品、提供公共服务及用品的站点等。本文在对西津渡历史文化做了深入了解的基础上，对西津渡城市家具的风格和特色进一步探讨，并将这一探求结果应用于西津渡地区多个城市家具的具体设计实践中。

功能是产品存在的本质价值，所以“城市家具”首先要具有的实用性，然而除此之外还需要更高的审美以及艺术表达，这就要求城市家具的设计在实用的基础上还应当注重外观的设计，历史文化因素的融入能让城市家具的设计更具有艺术性，且能更好的体现地域文化特色。

镇江是一座具有深厚历史文化的城市，而西津渡是镇江文化当中具有代表性的地方之一，也是见证镇江文化历史变迁的重要标志地。“西津渡城市家具”设计应当体现西津渡乃至镇江文化发展的历史脉络，本文以这一出发点，结合城市家具设计中的色、型、材等因素，进行设计思路的梳理、设计方法的研究以及设计实践。关键词：城市家具西津渡历史文化设计实践
