Abstract Nowadays,China has made some achievements in urbanization construction and the communication between urban and rural areas is becoming increasingly frequent。

Therefore,it is necessary to promote the integration of urban and rural public transportation system both for current and future development。 This paper intends to discuss some questions about the integration of urban and rural public transport system。

Firstly,the paper briefly introduces the research background and purpose, expounds the theory and practice achievements in the researches of the integration of urban and rural public transport at home and abroad, and puts forward the research method and idea。

Secondly,the paper discusses the process of urbanization in China, expresses the necessity of the integration of urban and rural public transportation from the aspects of urban and rural development, and forms preliminary implementation ideas based on the characteristics of the development of public transport in urban and rural areas in China。 

Thirdly,the paper explains the elements that researchers need to pay attention to,part of the implementation and implementation principle, etc in the process of  implementing integration of urban and rural public transport and describes the preliminary implementation method, gradually planning and piding the road network into three levels and idea, piding the hub station into two levels;
