Title Performance Analysis of Brushless DC Motor
Abstract
The brushless DC motor is a high-tech products which is set of electrical
and electronic integration. It is widely used in industry, transportation,
electronics, aerospace and military fields, for its small size, light
weight, small inertia, simple control and good dynamic performance
characteristics. Therefore, it has great significance to the study of the
brushless DC motor.
This paper first introduces the basic structure and working principle of
the brushless DC motor, so that we have a general understanding of the
motor. Second, analysis motor performance from the written theory. By the
magnetic structure, analyzes the equivalent magnetic circuit of permanent
magnet, the outer magnetic circuit and load characteristics calculation.
By the circuit structure, given the parameter calculation of the motor
windings and motor parameters .Including the armature resistance, armature
current, EMF, electromagnetic torque. Finally, take a concrete brushless
DC motor for example, firstly analyze it by the aforementioned theory, then
modeling this motor by MAXWELL. Get analysis result and Characteristic
curve by the software. Compared with the calculated value. Meanwhile change
the position of permanent magnet, compared the change of the output results
of the different location.
