摘要:视频监控系统能在人无法直接观察的场合，适时、清晰、真实地反映被监视控制对象的画面。视频监控系统已成为在现代化管理中监控的最为有效的观察工具。视频监控系统是一种全数字化、全网络化的系统，可以同现有的多媒体系统、控制系统和信息系统集成，方便地实现数据和信息的共享在控制中心，只要有一个工作人员操作，就能观察多个控区域，以及远距离区域的监控功能。9317
视频监控系统由实时控制系统、监视系统及管理信息系统组成。实时控制系统完成实时数据采集处理、存储、反馈的功能；监视系统完成对各个监控点的全天候的监视，能在多操作控制点上切换多路图像；管理信息系统完成各类所需信息的采集、接收、传输、加工、处理，是整个系统的控制核心。论文分析了一种基于VB技术的网络视频监控系统。将usb摄像头采集来的图像数据压缩后，经过网络传输，完成对监控现场的网络视频监控任务。论文首先阐述了网络视频的监控系统的发展状况，分析了主要外围电路的设计，以及如何在VB平台上进行程序的编译与移植，并对在windows操作系统下的USB驱动程序进行了研究。最后以提供的例子进行了系统整体测试并提出了进一步开发设想。

The driver of USB device is researched ,under Windows operating system is studied , and then the transplantation of data on the VB platform is accomplished ,Further this thesis focused on discussing how to design image collecting ,image coding ,and net work communication program .Finally ,the system is tested and the plan of further development is proposed.
