1  中国近代遗传学发展概况

上世纪一百年来是遗传学诞生和讯速发展的时代。如DNA、染色体的发现、达尔文进化论的提出，“自然选择”学说的创立，等等。而对于当时的中国，虽然国人在生活实践中，积累了很多关于遗传的知识，但仅停留在直观的描述和肤浅的感性认识中。直到1911年辛亥革命后，随着中国进步知识分子掀起的新文化运动出现，西方优秀的科学家们的先进思想和科学理论才被传入中国，从而促使了遗传学在中国的发生和发展。
