Carassius auratus brain belongs to the central nervous system, but the lack of the cerebral cortex, its functional activity is mainly manifested in the regulation of cerebellum, mesencephalon, diencephalon, and and brainstem each part of the association. Back behind in the rear; brain telencephalon: the olfactory bulb olfactory tract and brain hemispheres to incomplete mediastinal the brain is pided into left and right lateral ventricle (also known as public ventricle), interventricular foramen and diencephalon of the third ventricle are connected with each other, is responsible for the olfactory function in the brain of the front of the diencephalon in the brain, the brain pituitary diencephalon anteroventral, responsible for floral function; the midbrain: the in between, responsible for the visual function; cerebellum: connected to front of the midbrain, connected behind medulla oblongata, responsible for motor function; delayed brain: in the brain of the end of the front connecting small brain, the latter connects the spinal cord, is responsible for the taste function. In the fish brain, the distribution of the 10th cranial nerve, respectively for the olfactory nerve, the trochlear nerve, optic nerve, oculomotor nerve, auditory nerve, glossopharyngeal nerve, trigeminal nerve, abducent nerve, facial nerve, vagus nerve.

Observed behaviour of fish in 96 h experiments were to containing 0.1 mmol / L BaCl2, 1.0mmol/L BaCl2, 2.0mmol/L BaCl2 (experimental group) concentration of aerated tap water processing carp as model group, containing 0 mmol / L BaCl2 as control group, the establishment of barium in Carassius auratus brain NOS effect model, and the end of the experiment after determination of effects of different concentrations of BaCl2 on weight and nitric oxide synthase in Carassius auratus. The results showed that the behavior of Carassius auratus was slow and weight loss after exposure to barium. Under the influence of barium, the brain NOS activity of Carassius auratus decreased, and there was a significant inhibitory effect.
