摘要经济的发展促进居民生活水平的提高、医疗卫生事业的不断发展，同时也不断促进我国人口老年化进程。近些年来，政府出台了“健康老年化”的政策，目的是为了保障老年人利益、促进老年人身体健康。调查了解老年人体育健身现状，不仅仅促进了我国人口老年化问题，同时也促进了老年人健身事业的发展，帮助老年人营造一个良好的健身锻炼的氛围。

本研究运动文献资料法、问卷调查法、专家访谈法、数理统计法和实地考察法等方法，以镇江市城市老年体育健身现状为研究对象进行调查研究，研究结果如下：镇江市老年人参与体育锻炼，缺乏专业的社会体育指导员进行指导；目前的老年人健身项目还不能满足老年人的需求；体育活动场地的匮乏。通过以上结论，笔者给予以下建议：加强对社会体育指导员的专业培训；加大对场地器材的投入力度。86441
