随着社会的进步和科技的发展，信息技术被更为广泛的运用于生活中各个行业各个领域，计算机基础课程的学习也越来越被人们重视。现如今，学生普遍从小学开始一直到大学都在不同程度的接触到各种有关计算机基础的知识。进入大学后，高校更是将计算机基础课列为学生的必修课程之一，这也说明了信息化技术在现代生活中将占据越来越重要的地位。因此，探索研究出一个满足各个层次、各个专业学生需求的计算机基础课程教育教学模式是当前大学计算机基础课程改革的首要任务。
1. 研究现状和缺陷
当今社会计算机技术发展迅速，各个领域的工作都越来越离不开信息技术的运用。从近几年大学毕业生就业情况来看，掌握好计算机应用知识和技术也成为应聘的一项硬性要求。然而，由于信息技术发展快，形式多样，使得目前高校所开设的计算机课程不能很好地适应现在的形势发展。因此大学计算机基础这门课程的教学形式和教学理念也逐渐暴露出各种弊端。
