JSP-based Hotel Management System
Abstract: With the speeding up of life rhythm and the increasing number of trivial, tourism, office and other matters, the demand of food and lodging is becoming higher. Not only can the manager hander the daily matter only on the paper, but also they can use the computer to deal with the matters. The hotel management system is already becoming an important tool for the hotel manager, providing extremely convenience for them and providing the decision-making basis. The system adopts B/S mode to design, uses JSP technology and SQL Server 2005 database technology. It has the basic function of user’s registration and login, booking room, booking food, the management of the information of managers. It provide the function of booking online and giving the extremely convenience for the passenger.

基于JSP的酒店管理系统引言
进入21世纪，网络呈现井喷式发展趋势。特别是在我国，人们对网络的多样化需求，进一步推动了网络的发展。网络的快速发展，给人们的工作、学习、生活带来了很大的变化[1]。通过纸制化的管理模式已经不能应对日益增长的顾客的服务请求，酒店信息化管理软件系统就是在这个背景出现的。通过这个系统，不仅能给顾客提供方便，也能减少管理人员的工作量。

1.1 课题研究现状
随着网络的快速发展，酒店的管理更加趋向网络化和信息化。国内的酒店管理系统虽然经过几十年的发展有了很大的进步，系统也逐步趋向稳定可靠[2]。但是在国内相当多的酒店在管理上使用的还是纸制模式，在信息化建设方面很大程度上落后于西方发达国家，而且市场上使用的酒店管理软件大多是酒店定制的，对于中小型酒店来说，费用相对较高，难于承受。
1.2 课题研究意义
在近几年中电子商务迅速发展，给酒店事业的发展不仅带来了机遇，也带来了挑战，这需要酒店有较高的信息化水平。基于JSP的酒店管理系统是针对中小型酒店的管理系统，利用软件系统对酒店的资源进行科学的管理，不仅能够提高员工的工作效率，改善服务质量和降低成本，而且能够给酒店的改革和决策提供科学的依据，提高酒店的竞争力[3-5]。
