Title The Design of the NUT Project Management System based on the EXCEL SERVER software
Abstract
Scientific research is one of the important works in our universities, In recent years, the research activities for students are getting more, and becoming ever larger and more widely, causing some difficulties to manage the research activities.
This paper in-depth analyzed and researched The NUT Formula Student project, designed a simple and practical project management system based on the EXCEL SERVER software. Followed by the use of MS Project software for the overall decomposition of the WBS in the decomposition of the project, then the paper researched the resource allocation, cost and schedule management in the process of the project implementation. At the same time, the paper in-depth analyzed and optimized the schedule management which is the most important in this project. And also carried out a detailed comparison between the original and the optimized results.
In the course of the research, the knowledge of project management, industrial engineering ideas and project management software are applied to explore the entire project management process, this paper summarized the methods and experiences for the management of student research projects.
