摘要FPGA因为其大容量、可移植性强、并行处理等优势一跃成为图像处理领域中最为热门的技术之一,被广泛地应用到各个行业之中。本文对基于FPGA的图像处理技术在工件的非接触式测量上的应用进行了研究,该技术能减小测量的难度并且提高测量的速度。
课题以Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA图像处理平台为基础,实现了硬币尺寸的非接触式测量。首先阐述了基于FPGA图像处理技术的基本概念及其特点,研究了图像采集和图像预处理的基本方法,尤其是快速中值滤波算法。然后利用Matlab软件对各种算法进行仿真,通过对比不同的处理效果来选择合适的算法,并验证了算法的可行性。最后在ISE平台中完成了基于Verilog语言模块的设计和仿真,将Verilog模块下载配置到Virtex-5 FPGA芯片中并验证了硬币尺寸测量系统的可行性。87661

Title The Research of Image Processing System based on Virtex-5 FPGA
Abstract Because FPGA has many advantages such as large capacity, strong portability and parallel process, it has become one of the most popular technologies in the field of image processing, which is widely applied in various industries。 FPGA-based image processing technology’s application on the non-contact measurement of the work-piece is studied in the dissertation, and this technology can reduce the difficulty of measurement and improve speed。
This project carries out non-contact measurements of a coin based on platform of image processing named Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA。 Firstly, this dissertation presents FPGA-based image processing technology’s basic concept and features。 The basic methods of image’s acquisition and processing, especially an algorithm, called fast median filtering algorithm, are studied in this dissertation。 Then some effects of different methods are compared to select appropriate algorithms and the feasibility of those algorithms are verified by Matlab。 Finally, modules based on Verilog are designed and simulated in ISE platform, and those modules are loaded to Virtex-5 FPGA, verifying the feasibility of system of measurements on a coin
