摘要海岸线是海洋与陆地的分界线,它的更确切的定义是海水向陆到达的极限位置的连线。由于受到潮汐作用以及风暴潮等影响,海水有涨有落,海面时高时低,这条海洋与陆地的分界线时刻处于变化之中。改革开放以来,我国经济飞速发展,特别是沿海地带由于其天然的交通和资源优势,引来大量人口在此定居生活,各种人为的开发使得本就不稳定的海岸线变得更加脆弱。能够精确、实时、全面的提取海岸线对我国的可持续发展具有重大的战略意义,对海岸带区域资源的管理与利用也具有举足轻重的作用。75803
历史上,对海岸线的监测由来已久,传统的观测方式不仅效率低、费时长、消耗高而且严重有环境因素制约,得到的有效信息很少。近代以来,科学技术的日益进步,利用太空遥感影像提取海岸线成为主流手段,相比传统的观测方式,遥感监测具有诸多优势,比如说连续性好、观测范围大、省时省力、准确度高等。可用于海岸线提取的卫星影像资料日益丰富,其中Landsat系列卫星因为其覆盖面广、空间分辨率高、连续性好等优势成为海岸线提取中使用最多的数据之一。由于海岸线提取的重大经济效益与社会效益,越来越多的研究人员参与进来,提出创造了多种提取方法,这些方法各有优劣,适用类型也不尽相同。
本文就其中几种常用的方法以长江河口淤泥质海岸为研究对象,分别研究适合于各自情况的水边线提取方法,尝试寻找适用于所有情况或多数情况的水边线提取算法。
