1。 Introduction
With the process of globalization, second language learning gets more and more attention in most countries。 Extensive studies reveal that negative transfer of mother tongue is ubiquitous in second language acquisition。 However, because of the limited teaching and learning conditions, most students learn the second language in the mother tongue and motherland cultural environment。 Therefore, that how to reduce the negative transfer of mother tongue effectively becomes a meaningful and important task for language learners。来自优Y尔L论W文Q网wWw.YouERw.com 加QQ7520~18766
As one kind of language transfer, syntactic transfer of mother tongue in the second language acquisition is the most difficult problem to overcome。 English and Chinese belongs to different language families, so the differences between English and Chinese are quite a lot, and among them, syntax difference is the most headachy。 The English syntax is really complicated and is the hardest one to comprehensively master for Chinese。 And in English syntax learning, the negative syntactic transfer of Chinese is quite obvious。 Therefore, it is imperative to have a study on the negative syntactic transfer of Chinese in English learning。
It is known that most college students have been in the later period of English learning, and their many habits of syntax using have been fixed now。 Comparatively speaking, the syntax which is used improperly at present is the syntactic point, which is difficult to understand and acquire。 Based on this situation, the thesis aims to have a research on the degree of negative transfer in different syntax items by collecting and analyzing the writing samples from college students, and to have an investigation on their English learning habits through carrying out the questionnaire。 After the research, some effective learning and teaching methods are expected to be raised。
