Abstract This thesis is based on the studies of body language。 When it comes to communication, words are not the only way to convey and comprehend information, human communication also depends on nonverbal sign。 In fact human communication is a combination of verbal communication and nonverbal communication。 in interpersonal communication, women will be affected by gender difference of body languages。 There are positive influence and negative influence。 This thesis mainly studies the gender difference of body language in female interpersonal communication, and the affect it may have on women in their interpersonal communication。 The thesis also tempts to explore possible strategies women may apply when faced with negative influence to improve female interpersonal communication。91538

摘要本文以身体语研究为基础。提到交际,语言不是传达和理解信息的唯一途径,人类的交流也依赖于非语言符号。事实上,人类交际是言语交际和非语言交际的结合。在人际交往中,女性会受到身体语言性别差异的影响。这些影响有消极的也有积极的。本文主要研究女性人际交际中身体语言的性别差异以及其对女性人际交往的影响。本文还试图探索女性在面对消极影响时可能使用的策略来促进女性人际交往。

Human communication is generally pided into three parts, written language ,verbal language and body language。 When we communicate with others, we make ourselves understood not only by words, but also by our movements and expressions。 We use body language in our daily life whether you realize it or not。 Knowing how to use body language well can make people more successful than others and more eloquent。 In the long course of human history, human development is inseparable from interpersonal communication。 And different gender will show different behaviors when they communicate with the other gender。 Compared with male body language, The characteristics of female body language are veiled, elegant, pretty and so on。 In female interpersonal communication, women tend to use body language and polite language to express their feelings and thoughts。 They like to use some polite words like “please”, “sorry” to create a harmonious communication environment。 Especially, when having communication, female tend to use gestures, posture, movements, facial expressions and other silent language to strengthen or even replace the sound language。 The form and the ability of women to express their thoughts and feelings are stronger than men。 For instance, women are used to using nod to motion the continuation of their talk。 When women are shy, they like to cover their face with their hands。 When they are nervous, they like to blow with the mouth and they will jump and cheer when they are happy。 On the contrary, it would be very funny if men did it。 So in female interpersonal communication, it will be affected by the gender difference of body language。 The thesis will study the gender difference of body language in female interpersonal communication, especially from the aspect of touching, and we can know the importance of the body language, especially the influence on female communication。 Therefore we can have a better interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills。
