The first one is preparing the game。 Before the class, teachers must do adequate preparations for the game, which include choose and filtrate game。 Teachers can also negotiate with colleagues。 The game should be replaced if it doesn’t match with the lessons that will be taught。 Teachers should rehearse the details once the game is confirmed。 What’s more, teachers should prepare the materials, such as picture, toy, and card and so on。 These materials will make the game more vivid and interesting。 Teachers can also let students make the materials or collect the information by themselves, which can exercise their operation ability and give them the sense of honor。
The second one is explaining the game。 Before the game starts, teachers should explain the aim and the regulations of the game to students, illustrate the procedure and the requirement of the game clearly。 The lower grade can use Chinese and the higher grade can use both English and Chinese。 The explanation of the game must be as clear as possible。 The regulations of the game must be fair and reasonable。 The procedure of the game must relate to the aim of teaching, the requirements of the game must comply with students’ physical and mental development。 Teachers should ask students about the information of the game after the explanation, teachers should state again if they don’t make it clearly。
