From the past to the present, there are a lot of people who have studied American classroom teaching. There are some good examples as follows: Study on Ecology of Classroom of American Primary Schools(Li Yiming) where the author discusses ecology of classroom of American Primary School, which effected in American classroom teaching; A Course of Study in Oral and Written Composition for Elementary Schools(John Joseph Mahoney) where the writer mainly implies study in oral and written composition, and the distinguish of oral and written composition. Based on what have been studied, this paper mainly introduces the model’s influence in American primary school. The study will inspire teaching concept, teaching technology and teaching method of Chinese language teaching at primary school to enrich.

2.1 The Theory of Pragmatism on Education
Dewey’s educational theories presents in My Pedagogic Creed (1897), The School and Society (1900), The Child and the Curriculum (1902), Democracy and Education (1916) and Experience and Education (1938). Several themes recur throughout these writings. Dewey continually argues that education and learning are social and interactive processes, and thus the school itself is a social institution through which social reform can and should take place. In addition, he believes that students thrive in an environment where they are allowed to experience and interact with the curriculum, and all students should have the opportunity to take part in their own learning.
