In recent years, many experts and scholars have done a lot of researches on the Sino-US business negotiation styles. However, the differences of Sino-US business negotiations still exist. Why do these differences exist? What method can help us overcome these cultural differences? According to a lot of literature, we can summarize three main differences. The reasons for these differences mainly lies in the cultural differences between the two countries. "On account of the totally different history and culture of the two countries, the Sino-US negotiators’ way of thinking, values and other legal concepts are totally different." (He 29). "Because the cultural background is not the same. the speech and deportment, the ways of doing things and habits are different." (Wan 87). "From two different cultural background, negotiators have different values and ways of thinking, so it also determines the different negotiating styles. "(Pang 44). In today's economic background, why should we attach great importance to the research on the differences of Sino-US business negotiation style? Different styles of Sino-US business negotiation mainly embodies in what aspects?what is the key factor of the formation of these differences? How to overcome these differences in the Sino-US business cooperation and how to make the progress of business negotiation go more smoothly?
To solve these problems, we can learn from the three aspects: first, the main cultural differences between China and the United States determine the differences of the styles of business negotiation, and then expounds the differences, finally puts forward countermeasures on how to overcome these problems. In a word, under the background of economic globalization, we must seriously study the differences of Sino-US business negotiation styles and figure out the countermeasures on this. This
