Abstract Nowadays, with the continuous development of international exchanges, English, as an international common language, has been widely used all over the world。 As a result, people tend to pay much more attention to learning English than before。 In 2001, the National Education Department regulated the elementary students in Grade Three to have English lessons。 It is a quite sensible measure while it’s not enough to rely on the efforts of teachers and students, for parents also play an important role in primary students’ English learning。 So, the closed cooperation should be made between schools and parents to improve primary students’ proficiency and interest in English。 Home-school cooperation can create a good atmosphere for learning and teaching。 Also, it can more harmonize the relationship between parents and schools, so as to avoid them interacting each other。 Although schools and parents have strengthened their awareness of home-school cooperation in recent years, there are still many problems in the process of application。 The essay analyzes the previous researches and the influential factors of home-school cooperation, then how family and school should cooperate and how parents can get involved in their Children’s English learning to help children develop good study habit are discussed。 What’s more, this essay illustrates the problems lying in present home-school cooperation in primary English teaching so as to propose the appropriate solutions。77373

摘要现如今,随着国际交流的不断发展,英语作为一种国际通用语言已被广泛地应用在世界各地,人们也比以前更注重学习英语。2001年,国家教育部规定从小学三年级开始开设英语课程。这是一个相当明智的措施,但是小学生的英语学习仅仅依靠老师和学生的努力还不够,家长在这一过程中也起到举足轻重的作用。家长和学校之间应该进行密切的合作,使小学学生能有效地提高他们的英语水平,培养英语学习的兴趣。家校合作为教师和学生营造良好的教和学的氛围,协调父母与学校之间的关系,从而避免双方在指导学生过程中相互制约的关系。虽然近年来学校和家长加强了家庭合作意识,但双方在实际应用过程中仍存在许多问题。本文分析了前人的研究和家校合作的影响因素,然后讨论了家庭和学校如何合作,家长如何参与孩子的学习过程,从而帮助孩子们养成优秀的学习习惯。本文会阐述目前我国家校合作中存在的问题,从而提出相应的解决方案。
