随着人们财富的迅速增加，人们对生活水平的不断提高，人们要求从基本的饮食和衣着、追求健康和特殊饮食、追求情感诉求、饮食特色和舒适生活。人们会在餐厅和朋友聊天，也会和领导聊工作，但是餐饮空间是一个公共空间，客人在讲一些重要的事情时是需要安静、和私密性的，隔断除了区分各个功能区域的作用，提供了顾客一个私密空间，餐厅也分很多不同的等级，也有很多不同的复杂程度，或者空间的水平不同，也会有很多变化，在材料上面，不一样的材质或者颜色会与更加大的对比，带给消费者的感觉也是大不一样的。
