An Analysis of Jane Austen's Views on Marriage from the Perspective of Feminism

Abstract

The paper will mainly analyze Jane Austen’s views on marriage from the perspective of feminism。 As an important part of the paper, the basic information of feminism will be analyzed。 And after analyzing three female characters’ different views on marriage in Pride and Prejudice, the paper finds that, in Jane Austen’s views, a perfect marriage should be based on love and money。 Besides, she also advocates that both woman and man who get married should have good personality and share the equality right in marriage。 And while analyzing Jane Austen’s views on marriage from the perspective of feminism, the paper finds that women’s right in personal freedom and gender equality has been admitted。 However, Jane Austen’s views on marriage ignore women’s right in economy。85325

女权主义视角下对简·奥斯汀的婚姻观分析

摘  要

本论文主要研究的目的是从女权主义的角度分析简·奥斯汀的婚姻观。而女权主义作为主要阐述对象之一，它的基本内涵也在本论文中有所介绍。在分析了小说《傲慢与偏见》中三个女性角色对婚姻、金钱、个人品质和爱情四者关系的看法后，本论文最终总结得出简·奥斯汀本人的爱情观。在简奥斯汀的眼里，一段完美的婚姻应该以金钱和爱情为基础。同时，她还强调了一段婚姻中男女双方个人品质的重要性以及男女双方在婚姻中的平等关系。当本论文从女权主义的角度分析简·奥斯汀的婚姻观时，本论文发现她的爱情观同时存在积极、消极两面观点。一方面，她的婚姻观承认女性享受个人自由的权利以及性别平等的观念，而另一方面，她的爱情观却忽视了女性在经济上的权利。源Q于W优H尔J论K文M网WwW.youeRw.com 原文+QQ75201.,8766
