Abstract With the rapid development of international trade, Fuzzy Language plays an increasingly important role in Business English Negotiation。 The proper use of Fuzzy Language can promote the success of the negotiations。 First, this thesis introduces the definition and stages of Business English Negotiation。 Then, definition and classifications of Fuzzy Language are discussed。 And it mainly expounds the application of different kinds of Fuzzy Language in different stages of negotiations: the beginning stage, the consultation stage and the transaction stage。 Finally, the conclusion is reached: the accurate and flexible use of Fuzzy Language can better promote international business negotiation smoothly and effectively maintain cooperative relations between the two parties。 85660

With the development of international trade which has become increasingly frequent, the foreign trade share of each country is enlarging。 Under this circumstance, if the government, organizations, companies and inpiduals want to obtain maximum benefits in the international trade competition, and occupy the active position in international business negotiations, they should let the negotiators possess negotiation skills。 International business negotiation plays an increasingly important role as the key link of the foreign economic and trade。 During the negotiations, the two sides negotiate, coordinate and adjust their respective economic interests and political interests in order to come to an agreement on the issues of common interest。 To some extent, this kind of negotiation is like a “war”。 In such a “negotiation war” which is tense and full of competition, what should the two sides do to create a good atmosphere, so as to reach an agreement without losing their own interests?
