1。 Introduction
Li Bai wrote this poem when he had been exiled by the Emperor for eight years。 During this period, Libai and his friend Cen Xun were invited to another friend Yuan Danqiu’s home in Ying Yang Hill for many times, hiking, drinking, and singing together。 The poets who experienced exclusion in politics and his idea can not be realized, would often relieve depression by drinking。 So Li Bai expressed his resentment through the wine and thus writing this well-known poetry Qiang Jin Jiu。 The poem Qiang Jin Jiu showed a very image of Li Bai’s rebellious character: on the one hand, he was full of self-confidence, loneliness and pride; on the other hand, it also showed the feeling of indulgence after the twists and turns in the political life。 In this poem, he interpreted Chuang-tzu's philosophy of music, and expressed his contempt for wealth and sage。 Li Bai's poems are often full of imagination, exaggeration, metaphor, personification and other methods in a comprehensive way, resulting in a magical, splendorous and magnificent artistic conception, and that is the reason why Li Bai's romantic poems give us a feeling of unrestrained, elegant and immortal。 This poem was translated by many different domestic and foreign translators。 For the abundant rhetorical features in this poem, I chose three of them which are very characteristic and special in the poem, to write about。 This poem has different versions, thus I compared the version from Gong Jinghao in A Bouquet Of Poems From China’s Tang Dynasty, the version from Xu Yuanchong in 300 Tang Poems, the version from Sun Dayu, the version from Xu Jingcheng, the version from Xu Jingcheng and the version from Stephen Owen on the basis of characteristic rhetorical features, and analyzed their differences in their ways or skills of translating figures of speech(metaphor, hyperbole and parallelism)。 In the end, through the comparing, I got the conclusion of how to translate a poetry like this poem into foreign languages, that is, corresponded translation strategies。 《将进酒》的修辞特点及其翻译策略:http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_200483.html
